Rooted in Faith.
Built on Christ.

Jerusalem Lutheran Church began as a small gathering rooted in God’s Word in the late 1890s, when Morton Grove was little more than a quiet village. What started with occasional worship services for residents of a local home soon grew as others joined, eager to hear the gospel. In 1902, a group of faithful men formally organized the congregation, and by 1903 Jerusalem had its first church building. From those humble beginnings, the Lord planted and nurtured a congregation built on Christ, the cornerstone of our faith.
