Sunday Fellowship Hosts Sign Up

Thank you for helping provide refreshments and hospitality each Sunday. We truly appreciate your service to our church community!

Going forward, we’d like to make it a standard expectation that hosts stay about 15 minutes after service to help with fellowship and cleanup so the responsibility is shared and the same few people are not left to clean up each week.

Cleanup includes:

Putting coffee items away in the downstairs kitchen, including cleaning the coffee urn.
Tidying the refreshment area.
Collecting trash, emptying trash cans, and taking bags to the dumpsters in the north corner of the parking lot.

If you’re unable to stay on a particular Sunday, please try to arrange for another member to help with cleanup that day. Even if you are able to stay, please consider inviting others to help as well — it’s a simple fellowship opportunity and a great way to connect with one another. After all, many hands make light work!

We especially encourage our 8a.m. hosts to partner with someone from 11a.m. to help with cleanup after fellowship. If you need assistance (we know there are a lot of stairs) please don’t hesitate to ask others to jump in and help.

A Great Way To Help

If you would be willing, we would also love to build a small team of regular 11a.m. attendees who would be willing to serve as an ongoing Sunday Fellowship Cleanup Crew. Please let us know at secretary@jerusalemlutheran.org

When and where you can, (this is not an expectation) please consider arriving at 9a.m. so refreshments may also be enjoyed after our 8a.m. service. You're always welcome to join us for Bible Study at 9:45 prior to the start of 11am service!
