SHARING CHRIST'S GOSPEL
IN MORTON GROVE SINCE 1902

CHURCH HISTORY
Since 1902, Jerusalem has been blessed to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the Morton Grove and Chicagoland communities. We are a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), a nationwide fellowship of Lutheran congregations.
Rooted in God’s Word, we invite all people to grow in faith through worship, Bible study, and the faithful use of Word and Sacrament. Visitors are always welcome, and we would be honored to have you join us as we grow together in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
WORSHIP
Worship at Jerusalem is centered on Word and Sacrament. Rooted in the inspired Scriptures and the historic liturgical tradition of the Christian and Lutheran Church, our worship proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through God’s Word, Holy Baptism, and Holy Communion, we receive forgiveness, new life, and the assurance of salvation, along with comfort and guidance for our daily lives.

OUR FAITH
Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church is a confessional Lutheran congregation. We believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, and we gladly confess the teachings of the Evangelical Lutheran Church as they are presented in the Book of Concord. These confessions faithfully reflect the teachings of Scripture and guide what we preach and teach as part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
